Fall into Denim

What goes together more perfectly then denim and fall weather? Here at The Tannery we are denim-o-philes and are always on the look out for the perfect fit, wash and details for our denim buys. We like to make sure our denim collection goes above and beyond the norm with a style that reaches everyone in our broad spectrum of our customers. With help from our denim specialists we put together the four must have washes for the season.

From Citizens of Humanity, the Low Rise Skinny in Moonshadow, is already a best seller amongst Bostonians. The perfect not-quite-black not-quite-indigo, shade of dusty grey-blue and distressed wash pairs perfectly with any top you can imagine. The soft, stretchy denim makes for an extremely comfortable fit that we bet youll find yourself reaching for over and over again.

Stuck in a black and blue denim rut? A new alternative that can easily be incorporated into your fall wardrobe is military green. While still semi neutral, the shade can really pack some punch when swapped in for your old standbys. AG Jeans does it perfectly with their Dark Olive hued denim. We love how easily this color pairs with black, blue, leather…..anything you can think of really!

Burgundy, Bordeaux, Wine, whatever you want to call it, we find ourselves being drawn more and more to this shade for fall. Lucky for us JBrand has added Pinot to their collection. Needless to say we are loving this new color and all of the autumnal looks we create it.

An old standby, Rag and Bone’s Heritage Wash is the epitome of a classic dark denim wash. Being the perfect shade of indigo, this wash continues to be a favorite of ours and only looks better with age.
